Weekly Update, April 2026
I'm gradually catching up with new incoming stuff and my repair queue, so there's a slew of updates for this week!
New stock
A few new bits for this week:
- Ricoh Diacord - this is a relatively uncommon TLR, and I've never seen this metering variant before. Nice to operate and in good working condition - £160
- Minolta ROKKOR-PG 50mm f/1.4. This is the Minolta lens I use all the time, it's a really good bit of optics. This copy could probably do with a regrease at some point but it's in good working order - £65 (and get a discount on a Minolta body if you fancy it)
- Pentax KX, black, in great working order, with a lens - £150
- Nikon FM2, silver, with a 50mm f/1.8 or 35mm f/2.8. Serviced and in great condition - £240
- Miida universal stereo adapter. Weird thing you can screw onto any lens in order to take stereo photographs - £50
- Mamiya 645 Pro, with two backs, grip, and metered prism - £425
- Nikon F-301, great working condition - £45
Coming soon
- Mamiya RB67 90mm f/3.8, needs shutter repair
- Montanus Rocca Super Reflex. I finally got into this earlier today and found the shutter issue - a cord inside that cocks the shutter has disintegrated. I will fix this, at some point!
- Pentax K1000. Pretty ratty condition but seems mechanically fine. Needs a replacement prism.

- Various radioactive lenses. I want to clear out some of these so I'm not sat around quite so many. Various nice Pentax lenses and a couple of high-end Canon FD copies like the 35mm f/2 SSC.
- I'm probably going to put together a job lot of a bunch of cheaper things that haven't sold/had no interest, so if you've had your eye on one of the £20 cameras let me know so it doesn't go into that collection.
Spares and repairs bucket

Repairs are paused
I'm pausing the intake of new repair jobs for the forseeable future. I'll work to complete the existing ones I have waiting, but the reality is that the jobs I've taken on have occupied far more of my time than I wanted and I can't really bill what it actually costs me in time. I'll be continuing to do light seals and what repairs I can manage in the market, but I'll not be taking any repair work home with me.
Basically I've ended up with a huge backlog of more complex work and it's not really giving me time to sort out my own stuff or do much else as I'm spending practically every day on them now.
